Over the next 5 years, the ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee market in Myanmar is forecast to achieve a 5% to 9% compound annual growth rate. The new beverage brand is called Green Hills Coffee. It will consist of a full line of coffee products. Four RTD coffee products will be part of the initial launch of Green Hills Coffee: black coffee, iced coffee, mocha, and vanilla latte. The coffee drinks are manufactured in Thailand within a facility that is certified for GMP, HACCP, and Halal production. Green Hills Coffee is produced in a 180ml tin can, providing this beverage with a look that is premium, clean, and modern; and a taste that captures the essence of drinking a cup of brewed coffee. The current targeted retail price is 500 kyats, making it an affordable product for the average consumer.

The brand is targeted towards young working professionals and university students looking for a quick and convenient grab-and-go beverage. It is a drink for tired and sleepy travelers and drivers who want a more natural alternative to energy drinks. It is also a companion beverage for adventurous thrill-seekers who want to grab a drink to fuel their activities. Finally, it is a drink for the everyday variety seeker who is influenced by western culture and would like to drink coffee simply as a refreshment.
